kp’s rose parade® float creative direction

2020 + 2022
In 2020, the Rose Parade® theme was “Hope” and Kasier Permanente (KP) reflected this with their float “Courage to Re-imagine.” Re-imagine health care (the innovative doctors on the flaot), re-imagine each members path to total health (the yellow brick road), and the teaching of medicine (The School of Medicine represented as the Emerald City). Much research was done to align with the original book and illustrations, resulting in KP winning the Wrigley Legacy Award.

In 2022, the Rose Parade® theme was “Achieve. Dream. Believe,” and KP reflected this with their float “A Healthier Future.” The concept was to show children of every background exploring technology and learning about science - to look to their own futures and to the promise of it too. The float won the Theme Award.
